2000: National Academic All-American, Third Team College Division
2016: Smith and his 1999 teammates were honored to be inducted into Colby-Sawyer College Athletic Hall of Fame.

2000-2003: Instructor at the West Coast Baseball School in Agoura Hills, CA
2001-2005: Writer and Assistant Editor for Junior Baseball Magazine
2003-2008: Assistant Baseball Coach at Colby-Sawyer College
